Privacy Policy

Who we are

This policy is published by Slabbie LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("Slabbie," "we," "us"). It covers both the slabbieapp.com website and the Slabbie mobile app. If you have any question about it, email kody@slabbieapp.com.

Information we collect

On the website

• Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit. The form is processed by Formspree on our behalf.
• Pre-order and purchase details. Payments and pre-order deposits are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
• Basic technical logs. Our hosting providers may log standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to serve the site and keep it secure.

In the app

• Account and subscription information. Contact details you provide and your plan status.
• Your collection. The cards you scan or add, prices, notes, and sales you record. Your collection is stored locally on your device.
• Card lookups. When you scan or price a card, the card's identifying details (such as a certification number) are sent to our servers and licensed data partners to return identity, population, and market pricing.
• Device and printer information. Basic device details and Bluetooth pairing information needed to connect your label printer, and a push notification token if you enable notifications.

How we use it

• To provide the service: identify cards, return price estimates, print labels, and serve public card pages you choose to generate.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To send you updates you asked for (waitlist and launch news) and service messages.
• To support you, fix problems, and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only with the service providers needed to run Slabbie:

• Stripe for payment processing.
• Formspree for the website waitlist form.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that serve the website, the app backend, and public card pages.
• Licensed card-data partners that return card identity, population, and market pricing for lookups. Lookup requests carry card details, not your personal profile.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Public card pages and QR codes

When you print a label, it can carry a QR code linking to a public card page showing that card's identity, stats, and market information. These pages show card data, not your name or contact details. Anyone who scans the code can view the page.

Retention and your choices

• Your collection lives on your device; deleting the app removes it from your device.
• You can unsubscribe from waitlist or marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by writing to us.
• You can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you by emailing kody@slabbieapp.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and honor applicable legal rights, including those under Washington and other US state privacy laws.

Children

Slabbie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes to how the app handles data will also be noted in the app or by email.
